Twisted Party Blindshot / Blind Shoot

Invisible rivals, first blood, bump to see

Blindshot Mini-Game

Blindshot — also written Blind Shoot in player chat — is one of five wheel games in Twisted Party. The rule that matters is simple and mean: you cannot see the other players. The round is a free-for-all shooter or tag-with-bullets in the dark, depending how your lobby describes the gun. What Steam’s achievement list makes undeniable is the first-blood skin. Chubby Unlocked is “be the first to get shot in a Blindshot game,” held by about 36% of owners. Someone in most public rooms donates that skin without wanting it.

This page is only Blindshot. If you need the rest of the wheel, start at the Mini-Games Hub.

What you actually do

You move with WASD. You cannot rely on silhouettes. Players bump into each other, and those collisions are how position leaks. Treat every knock as a ping on a radar. Standing still in a corner feels safe until someone else camps the same corner and you both learn geography the painful way. Shift is the hold-to-go-faster key people mash when they finally have a read. E and Space are in the default set; this wiki will not invent a unique Blindshot gadget bind.

Audio and crowd noise in voice chat matter more than a fake “reveal phase” tutorial from another wiki. If your Discord call goes quiet, someone saw a bump you did not.

Chubby versus winning the round

Those are opposite homework assignments. Hunting Chubby means being visible and early. Hunting the round means being late to every collision and never lining up with the first shot. Say the goal in voice. Mixed goals are how a friend “helps” you by standing still in your lane.

After first blood, the round is not over. Chubby is first shot, not last standing. Continue as if the lights were still off, because they are.

Why the survival list calls it high variance

Hidden enemies plus a first-shot lottery is variance. Skill is movement discipline and using bumps as information. Luck is who spawned aligned with whom. A 2–4 player room has fewer bodies to collide with, so information is rarer and each shot is louder. An eight-player room is a mosh pit you still cannot see. Neither mode adds teammates. Official copy: there are no teammates here.

How it sits in a night

Blindshot can appear whenever the wheel deals it. Hosts cannot vote it on. Between rounds you may still die in the voting capsule while the next map loads. Do not confuse capsule deaths with Chubby; Freelancer is three capsule deaths, Chubby is first Blindshot shot.

If the match black-screens as Blindshot tries to start, that is init disconnect territory from the July patch, not a “darkness shader.” Recreate the lobby.

Habits that help

Strafe after every bump so you do not eat a follow-up in the same footprint. Do not sprint in a straight line that a listener can predict. Watch who in voice says “I hit someone” and rotate away. Read How to Win for the short version of the same advice. Read Controls if Steam Input ate your Shift.

Blindshot is the game’s personality when it is working: ugly, unfair in a funny way, and over before the joke gets old. Play it as information warfare, not as a sighted deathrun someone invented for clicks.
